ASLI Aging Fest 2023 to unveil blueprint to harness $1 trillion investment potential in India’s senior care sector

The Association of Senior Living India (ASLI) has announced a new world-class program that is poised to transform India’s senior care industry, often referred to as the ‘silver economy’. The 4th ASLI Aging Fest, to be held at Le Meridien Hotel, New Delhi on November 17, 2023, is set to highlight the immense growth potential within the senior care sector and these exciting investment opportunities.

This historic program was officially announced during an event organized on the occasion of ‘The International Day of Older Persons’ in the presence of Saurabh Garg, Secretary, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment. In his keynote address here, Dr. Saurabh Garg, Secretary, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, highlighted the Ministry’s commitment towards supporting enterprises and startups in senior care products and services.

Dr. Garg emphasized that the Ministry has allocated funds under this objective and expressed hope of participation of more and more startups in this. He believes that by encouraging innovation in the senior care sector, the industry can be elevated to the next level, while also addressing the existing supply gap.
