Columbia Pacific Communities launches Columbia Blog; encourages therapeutic writing for senior citizens
As part its constant endeavor to engage with its senior residents more meaningfully, Columbia Pacific Communities created a blogging platform for its residents on its website Columbia communities.in in August this year.
With its recent digital campaign #Relearn, it has set a benchmark for itself in breaking age related stereotypes. Taking a step forward, the Columbia Blog was conceptualized as a platform for its residents to be mentally agile, and stay engaged.
The 1600 residents across the 9 communities come from different walks of life. They have rich, interesting life experiences that come alive through a platform like a blog.

This initiative, along with the overall content direction, design and aesthetics of the corporate website of Columbia Pacific Communities won it the Best Website Content in Real Estate.
Award at the India Content Leadership Awards 2019, held in New Delhi on October 4.

The blog is not the only resident engagement initiative taken by Columbia Pacific Communities in the recent past. Through its monthly in-house magazine, Tales, the company celebrates residents that have led and continue to lead inspiring lives and inspire fellow seniors to age positively and achieve greatness. From giving free medical care to the underprivileged to recycling waste products for a sustainable lifestyle to working on micro-drones, some of the residents are real life heroes that are giving back to society in a meaningful way. Their inspiring journeys are featured in a monthly editorial column called The Trailblazers.
