Covai Property Centre (India) Private Limited, popularly known as Covai, was incorporated on 14 Dec 2001 as a real estate development and construction company by Colonel Achal Sridharan, VSM.
Our 18 years of diligent journey from Covai to CovaiCare® has resulted in over 17 retirement community projects across South India. (including Serene Retirement Communities). Colonel resigned from the Board of Serene in 2013.
As pioneers of Senior Living, CovaiCare’s vision is to Solve Ageing. We provide solutions to living, care and products that are useful to the senior citizens.
Brand CovaiCare includes Covai Property Centre (India) Private Limited (for Construction and Consultancy), Covai Senior Citizens Services Pvt Ltd (for Services) and Covai Elder Care Private Limited (for care and senior products).
The big differentiator is CovaiCare’s inclusivity. Due to longevity, the need of the hour is care for the elderly. Covai understands this need and has included assisted, palliative, preventive and memory care. We are the first in the world to integrate PsWD Care wherein the special needs children are taken care of after the demise of their parents and thus, finding solution to the question, “Who after me?”
Technology & Covai: CovaiSmart® App maintains our high standard of services in our retirement communities. We also have gadgets like SOS watches for emergency alerts. We have Telemedicine facilities for our residents by Covai’s PolyCare.
Environment Friendly Covai: Covai S3 built in 2004, is the FIRST retirement community in the country to get a Platinum rating by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) in 2018 which demonstrates our foresight. Also, CovaiCare adopts Zero waste policy in the communities that we serve.
Socially Responsible Covai: Our commitment to the society goes beyond elder care. We adopt villages near our retirement communities from where we draw our staff; build schools in rural areas; run programmes for the children of our staff with the help of our residents.
